St. Augustine’s RC HS operates a vertical pastoral system which means that, where possible, siblings from the same family are allocated to the same House, Pupil Support Leader and often the same Form teacher for the duration of their time at the school.

As pupils progress through the school, Pupil Support Leaders will provide different forms of support and advice; Personal, Social, Academic, and Vocational. Our House system has been set up to ensure that each pupil is known as an individual, has their needs uniquely met and feels valued.

Pupils are encouraged to approach their Pupil Support Leader as soon as possible if they are experiencing any difficulty, no matter how trivial. Pupil Support Leaders also welcome early contact from our parents/carers concerning any problems facing a young person.

It is important that our parents/carers please keep us informed of any changes in circumstances or personal details.
