S6 Year Head Mr Frew and our Senior Leadership Team
A message from our S6 Senior Leadership Team…
Welcome to the St. Augustine’s RC High School website — a place where you can learn more about our school, our values, and the strong community we’re proud to be part of.
As senior learners at St. Augustine’s, we know that school life is about more than classes, homework, and exams. It’s about growing as individuals, supporting one another, and building a community where everyone feels valued. Our Catholic faith is at the heart of our ethos, shaping how we treat each other with dignity, compassion, and respect. It inspires us to serve others, celebrate each person’s gifts, and strive for excellence in all we do.
This website is here to help keep our school community connected and informed. Whether you’re a new S1 pupil joining us, a parent or carer looking for key information, or a visitor wanting to understand what makes our school special, you’ll find useful updates, important dates, policies, contacts, and guidance all in one place. It’s also a hub for sharing achievements, opportunities, events, and wider school life — including clubs, wider achievement, careers, and pastoral support.
We hope you’ll use this site to stay involved, feel welcomed, and share in the life of St. Augustine’s RC High School — a community where faith, learning, and kindness go hand in hand.

On Tuesday 3rd February, our dedicated Pupil Equalities Committee braved the elements and travelled to St Joseph’s to educate P6 and P7 on all things Equalities, including the importance of being anti-racist, the harms of misogyny, what neurodiversity is and how we can all support those who are neurodiverse, what LGBTQIA+ is and how we can support those who are part of this community, and why looking after your mental health is so important.
These pupils delivered informative presentations, with our school value of respect at the heart of every conversation. To their credit, the primary school pupils listened well and asked intelligent questions, making this visit a successful one!”
